Man Enters Plea for Child Abduction in Neillsville

-The man involved in a child abduction in Neillsville back in December entered a plea to the charges against him in Clark County Court on Wednesday.Back in December, a Neillsville resident contacted the Neillsville Police Department and said her estranged husband, Jason Sonnheim, had broken into her home, assaulted her and abducted their 4-year-old son. He was later spotted in Eau Claire County and, after a brief high speed chase, he was arrested.
Sonnheim is facing multiple charges here in Clark County and Eau Claire County. He pleaded guilty to a charge of strangulation and suffocation and interferes with a child custody order. A sentencing date was set for the end of August.
