Report of Officers at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Report of Officers at their meeting on Tuesday of last week.

For April of 2016, they had 161 complaints, 74 service calls, 45 traffic citations, 66 traffic warnings, 4 crash investigations, 11 ordinance citations, 15 adults arrests, 9 cases referred to the D.A., 6 juvenile cases and 40 parking citations. These numbers are fairly consistent with April of 2015. Some other highlights included continued training for Chief Klueckmann, Officer Aumann presenting to some kindergartners and some training for Officer King.

Chief Klueckmann and Chief Deputy Jim Hirsch also assisted Memorial Medical Center with an active shooter response policy, the department arrested a Neillssville man for his 5th OWI, they assisted with a high speed chase, a Marshfield man was arrested for his 6th OWI, the department is now a collection point for prescription drug drop off and more.
