Neillsville Police Department Joins Other Law Enforcement Agencies for Click It or Ticket Campaign Beginning Today

-The Neillsville Police Department has joined hundreds of other law enforcement agencies throughout Wisconsin for the annual Click It or Ticket safety belt enforcement campaign which begins today, May 23rd, and runs through June 5th.Their goal is not to write more tickets but through enforcement and education they're determined to get people to buckle up every time they drive or ride in a vehicle. Approximately half of the drivers and passengers killed in Wisconsin traffic crashes last year were not wearing safety belts. Buckling up is the best protection against being ejected from a vehicle during a crash or thrown around violently inside a vehicle.
