Clark County UW-Extension Checking Canner Gauges

Clark County UW-Extension, along with the Clark County Master Food Preservers, will be testing pressure canner gauges.They’ll be testing them at several locations including the Thorp SuperValu from 9am-11am on Monday, June 7th and Hene’s Supply in Withee from 1am-3pm on Monday, June 7th. They’ll also be testing them at Kramer’s County Market in Abbotsford from 9am-11am on Wednesday, June 9th and Cloverdale County Store in Curtiss from 1pm-3pm on Wednesday, June 9th.
You can also have your pressure canner gauge tested at the UW-Extension Office in Neillsville, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You only need to bring the lid; weighted gauges or “jigglers” cannot be checked. Dial gauges should be checked yearly.
