Genex Cooperative Announces Excellence in Reproduction Awards

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Shawano-based Genex Cooperative, Inc. has announced the winners of this year's Excellence in Reproduction Awards, which are members and customers who achieve top-notch herd reproduction results on their dairy operations.Kristi Fiedler, who serves as the company's vice president of U.S. Technical Services, says the award program recognizes dairy producers for reproductive success within their herds. Wisconsin farms in the area of 500 cows or less include Kliebenstein Farms, Darlington; Breitenmoser Family Farms, Merrill; and Truttmann Dairy LLC, Blanchardville.
Dairies with 500-2,000 cows are Schilling Farms, Darlington; Leix Farms Inc., Monfort; and Maple Ridge Dairy Business, Stratford. And Wisconsin herds with more than 2,000 cows to earn recognition include Darlington Ridge Farms, Darlington; Pagel's Ponderosa Dairy LLC, Kewaunee; and Verhasselt Farms LTD, Kaukauna. Meanwhile, Heeg Brothers Dairy LLC of Colby was recognized for reproductive success in the area of heifer-growing operations.
