CDC's Report at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard the CDC’s Report at their meeting last week.Tim Swiggum reported that Parks & Rec. met on May 3rd in which a Public Informational Meeting was held regarding the goose round up. The ATV Ordinance Ad-Hoc committee met and revised the City’s ATV ordinance. The DRC committee is working on the Car Show and the community gardens are all taken.
He also stated the Farmer’s Market has begun on Saturday mornings at the Mill Pond Park. The Curb Appeal contest is ongoing and Kerry Ingredients donated $200 towards the prize money for the contest. Finally, he said the DNR is working to clean up the contamination at the OMI building.
