Colby Students Hold Texting and Driving Activity

Members of Colby’s SADD group, or Students Against Drunk Driving, along with local law enforcement from the Clark County Sherriff's Deparment and Colby/Abby police department held a texting activity for Sophomore & Juniors.

Students had the opportunity to drive a UTV through an obstacle course,  with a police officer riding beside them, while trying to text responses to a SADD member.

The activity shows the difficulty of driving while being distracted.  After the driving course students watched videos and had a chance to ask questions with law enforcement.
