Neillsville School Board Approves Lunch Price Increase

-The Neillsville School Board approved a lunch price increase at their meeting on Monday.The district will see an average increase of $.8 for the next school year, but they will decide later how they’ll split that between the elementary and high school lunches. This needs to be done due to federal mandates, but the district’s lunch program is doing well and currently running in the black. The board also approved the student insurance for the next school year. It’s with the same company and there was no increase in cost.
The board also approved two donations. One was from the county Seal-a-Smile Program. They donated several playground kick balls. The other was a plaque and $1,000 from the family of Tony Stini who was a long time and dedicated school employee.
