Administrators' Reports at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday of last week.Jr./Sr High School Dean of Student Julie VanArk reported that community service day is Wednesday, May 18th and that the Jr High Recognition dinner will be held on Friday, May 20th. The senior banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 25th at 7:00pm. A new twist to the final day for seniors this year will be that after graduation practice on Friday, May 27th, seniors will don their robes and do a graduate parade through the elementary school.
District Administrator Bob Houts reported to the Board that, at the Teacher Recognition Dinner held on Wednesday, May 4th, Denise Swartz received the Elementary Teacher of the Year Award and Travis Engel received the JR/Sr High Teacher of the Year Award. Both teachers will be Owen-Withee nominees for the Kohl Fellowship next fall.
