Marshfield Clinic Hosting Vein Screening Day

-Do you have bulging or discolored veins in your legs, just below the surface of the skin?They may be varicose or spider veins, which can be painful, uncomfortable or perhaps you simply don’t like the way they look. The good news? Treatments are available. The first step is a screening, which is why Marshfield Clinic, on Friday, May 20, will host Vein Screening Day. Up to 48 people, ages 25 and older, can be accommodated for vein screenings between 8 a.m. and noon in the Clinic’s Vascular Laboratory Department.
The screening will consist of an abbreviated vein-screening test. The free screening will take about 15 minutes and uses simple, non-invasive ultrasound techniques. Appointments are necessary.
