Loyal School Board Approves Organizational Matters

-The Loyal School Board approved organizational matters at their meeting Wednesday evening.The board elected their board officers with them being all the same as last year. They also approved BMO Harris Bank as their depository and the TRG as their official paper. They also filled the committee assignments, which are also similar to last year.
The board approved the 3rd and final reading of transgender and board governance policies, increased teacher salaries 0.12% and increased admin salaries 1.5% and added some days to the principal’s contract. Finally, they approved a summer rec director, summer bus chaperone, 10 cent higher lunch prices, summer rec fees (same as last year) and discussed end-of-year priority spending and approved some maintenance expenditures.
