Fishing Season Opens In Wisconsin Today

Wisconsin's game fishing season opened this morning statewide.In northern Wisconsin, it's the governor's annual fishing outing in Trego, just north of Spooner. Deputy state Tourism Secretary Sarah Klavas says fishing is a huge attraction that brings a major economic benefit to the state.
The DNR will sponsor a free fishing weekend statewide on June 4th and 5th, when no license will be needed to fish.
