Human Remains Found in Taylor County

-Human remains were found in the rubble of a burnt out mobile home in northern Taylor County.On May 3rd, the Price County Sheriff’s Department asked for assistance form the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department related to a missing person. Price County provided a vehicle description for the person. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Department located the vehicle next to the burnt out remains of a mobile home.
After the area was secured and assistance was provided by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Wisconsin State Patrol and Wisconsin Crime Lab, human remains were found in the mobile home on May 4th around 10am. All the agencies involved are continuing to investigate this matter.
