Local Students Receive FFA Foundation Scholarships

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Over $31,000 in Wisconsin FFA Foundation scholarships will be going to 42 students this next school year.Scholarships were awarded to seniors in high school, or students currently enrolled in a university or technical college. Some of this year's local recipients include Kevin Johnson of the Granton FFA for ANIMART, Jared Heeg of the Marshfield FFA for the Kenneth K Heideman Endowment, Nadia Moore of the Marshfield FFA for the Kenneth K Heideman Endowment, Jade Pinter of the Owen-Withee FFA for Star Blends and Ashley Zimmerman of the Spencer FFA for the Wisconsin Agri-Business Association.
Scholarships were awarded through annual contributions and endowed funds donated by companies, industry organizations and individual supporters, all of which share the organization's passion for agriculture education and leadership development. The winning applicants will be recognized on stage at the Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison in June.
