Neillsville Police Department Now a Collection Point for Safe Disposal of Prescription Drugs

Friday, April 29th, 2016 -- 8:13 AM

-The Neillsville Police Department will now be a collection point where residents can safely dispose of their unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

This is a free service provided by the Department. Most people flush their unwanted meds down the toilet but this is not recommended because it can have an adverse effect on water quality. Medications can be dropped off weekdays from 7:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The Clark Co. Sheriff's Department is also a collection point for drug drop-offs. Go to the 3rd floor of the Clark Co. Jail (north entrance) and you will see the green collection box in the lobby. If there are any questions, residents are encouraged to contact our Department at 715-743-3122.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
