-The Neillsville City Council approved their portion of Clark County’s Outdoor Recreation Plan. The Clark County Trails Advisory Committee, Clark County Forestry and Parks Department and the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission developed an updated, comprehensive outdoor recreation plan for the entire county. Naturally, Neillsville has a portion in the plan. The council approved their portion of the plan, which makes them eligible for grants and cost-sharing aids from the state and DNR.
The council also heard the committee reports from the various committee meetings held the past couple months in the city. They heard the report from the Historic Preservation Commission held on April 13th. They discussed homes that will be on the tour of homes and ones that they’d like to ask. They also discussed grant request forms and the Historic Architectural Brochure, which is almost complete.
