Wisconsin Bench Manufacturing in Thorp Celebrates Expansion with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

-Wisconsin Bench Manufacturing in Thorp celebrated a recently completed expansion at their facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony Saturday morning.City, county and state officials offered their congratulations to the company at the ceremony. Wisconsin Bench has seen tremendous growth and expansion over the years. They have some of the most modern equipment in the United States including some not seen anywhere else in the U.S. They often have other companies come to them to see what they’re doing including companies form overseas. Most of the products that leave Wisconsin Bench, which includes school and university furniture, medical furniture, cabinets, counter tops and more, are custom built.
The company currently hires 143 employees with an additional 20-25 in the summer during their busy season. They hire high school and college students and even pay a bonus to their school if they stay for 60 or 90 days at Wisconsin Bench. They run 20 hours a day with two shifts and a weekend shift as well.
