North Central's High School Health Careers Camp

High school students interested in the medical field can apply for the North Central AHEC’s Health Careers Summer Camp.The camp is scheduled for July 10th-13th at UW-Stevens Point. The cost is $100 and covers all food, travel to the health facilities and lodging at the Stevens Point campus. There are financial assistance scholarships available. If you’re interested application materials will be online and due by May 1st. Applicants will submit an application and two teacher references.
Fields represented at the camp include radiology, public health, clinical laboratory science and more. Campers will experience the opportunities and rewards of a health care career through educational sessions and tours. Campers will get hands-on access to medical skills and interact with health professionals in Marathon, Wood and Portage Counties.
