SHP's Community Benefits Program Reaches Many

Security Health Plan’s Community Benefits program, which focused on improving the health of children, older adults and those with behavioral health problems, reached more than 40,000 individuals in 2015.Last year Security Health Plan’s Community Benefits program partnered with 86 organizations, from southern Wisconsin to the Lake Superior shore and offered various programs for adults and kids to improve their overall physical and mental health.
2016 promises to be just as robust. Security Health Plan recently announced Healthy Aging grants to provide older adults with education and support on topics such as nutrition, physical activity, falls prevention, chronic disease and behavioral health.
