Loyal School Board Gives Oath of Office to New and Returning Members

-The Loyal School Board swore in their new and returning members at their meeting on Wednesday.The Oath of Office was given to newly elected board member Jennifer Kadolph and given to returning members Paul Gries and Deb Roedel. The board had the seconding reading of their Transgender and Board of Governance Policies. The final reading and approval will be next month. They approved the Foodservice Director contract and tabled the teacher pay increase. They also discussed the board officer positions, but they will fill those next month.
They tabled the first reading of the Retention Policy and did the first reading on the revised Parent Permission Form for World Wide Web publishing of a student’s work or picture. Finally, they approved their spring sport coaches, approved the Lions Club Advertising Banners, approved sharing a Vocal Music and FACE teachers with Granton, approved hiring Jessica Coilkosz as the High School Math teacher and read/discussed an article regarding teacher shortages.
