Communications at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard some communications at their meeting last week.Board President Julie Wendler read a thank you card from the Don Boening family expressing gratitude for the card and memorial donation the district gave when Don’s mother passed away. She also distributed a card from the Boys’ Basketball team thanking them for their support this past season and she passed around to the Board members many thank you cards and notes from elementary students thanking them for the new playground equipment that will be installed this summer.
After going into closed session, the board reconvened in open session and acted on two motions that were discussed in executive session. The first motion, which was unanimously approved, reassigned several of the bookkeeper duties to Susan Beck and increased her salary from $34,082 to $38,000. The second motion, also unanimously passed, approved hiring Stacy Rasmussen as the District Bookkeeper at a salary of $42,000.
