-Fire danger is very high in Central Wisconsin.Currently, Clark, Eau Claire and Jackson Counties are under very high fire danger. Chippewa, Wood and Marathon Counties are under high fire danger. And Taylor County is under moderate fire danger.
This means that fires can start easily by many different sources and spread rapidly. Burning permits are suspended in most of these areas. You can call the Wisconsin DNR or check their website for burning restrictions.
