Monday, April 11th, 2016 -- 9:26 AM

-The Marshfield Police Department has released the name of the 36-year-old Marshfield woman found dead in an apartment last week.

The department received a report of a woman unresponsive in an apartment on the 800 Block of South Central Avenue. When they arrived, life saving measures were attempted, but Lisa McKenzie was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy has been completed and the cause of death is pending on toxicology results and the events leading up to her death are still under investigation. The Marshfield Police Department said that the woman was homeless and was found in a friend’s apartment. They also said that she had a history of drug use and no evidence at the scene would suggest suicide.
