Hiking for The Highground

-Fritz Wiggert of La Crosse, a recent engineering graduate from UW Platteville, has decided that before taking a permanent job, he will be taking his 2 year old golden retriever Oakley with him on a five month hike across the Appalachian Trail.Fritz would like to hike for a “Cause” and has decided that he would like to “Hike for The Highground” to help raise awareness of the park and to also hopefully raise some money to help The Highground continue its mission of healing and education. Fritz and Oakley head out on their journey tomorrow to start the trip in Georgia and hike north to Maine finishing in August, God willing.
