Visitor Guides and More at Clark County Tourism Meeting

-The Clark County Tourism Committee decided not to make new visitor guides at their meeting on Wednesday.The committee was ready to begin the initial phases of putting together a new book for 2016-2018. However, as there are many guide books left from the previous printing and they're not dated in anyway, the committee felt it would be best to hold off on that until late this year or early next. This will allow the committee to focus on other initiatives and projects they're working on.
The committee also discussed some exciting items in regards to Agritourism. They also heard some updates on what's happening in the Forestry and Parks Department and discussed various methods of advertising what the county has to offer. Finally, they ended the meeting by hearing from Linda (Garett) Holts on the Cultural Arts Center Project and discussed the fall tourism activities.
