Administrators' Reports and Employment Matters at Neillsville's School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Monday.

High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, Infinite Campus set up, student registration online, 8th grade orientation, course scheduling, athletics and sportsmanship at Neillsville/WIAA memo, Jan 29th is the Bioluminescence Laboratories with 8th graders, academic and career planning, graduation and scholarships, PBIS, High Quiz Bowl took second place, forensics and prep for ACT testing.

District Administrator John Gaier reported on a memorial card, property tax comparisons, the Medford Legislative Meeting, a meeting with legislators and businesses, the new executive director of the Chamber, the merger of Willis of Wisconsin with Towers Watson, a Focus article, the AEF Annual Meeting, testimony opposing Senate Bill 355 and the Chamber Recognition Banquet awards.

In employment matters, the board approved the resignation of Karen Weiler from her teaching assistant position, approved Tia Opelt for a teaching assistant position, approved Alison Dickinson for a teaching assistant position, approved Sydney Miller for the C-team boys' basketball coaching position and approved the initial adoption of Policy IGDJ.
