Grant Applications Approved at Clark County Board of Supervisors

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved several grant applications from the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department at their meeting on Thursday.One resolution was to apply for a grant to help maintain the 188.3 miles of ATV trails the county has. The grant would be for $78,682 and also pay for $33,300 in wages and $46,662 in other costs. Another grant application approved was for trail maintenance of the Knobby Ridge Off-Road Motorcycle Trail. This grant is for $13,805 and it would cover wages and benefits at $2,160 and club costs at $25,450.
And another grant application approved was for county snowmobile trails. The county currently maintains 375.1 miles of snowmobile trials and this grant would be for $93,775. It would also cover $8,000 in wages and benefits and $86,375 in other costs.
