Clark County Girl Named Outstanding Holstein Girl at State Convention

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Two distinguished members of the Wisconsin Junior Holstein Association were honored last weekend in Wisconsin Dells.Charlie Hamilton of Grant County and Jessica Pralle from Clark County were named Outstanding Holstein Boy and Girl at the group's annual state convention. Hamilton and Pralle were among the 19 selected Distinguished Members honored this past fall by the association, and will compete at the National Holstein Convention in New York this June.
Seventeen Young Distinguished Junior Member winners and 15 Twelve & Under Recognition finalists were also honored at the conference. Members were also recognized for speaking, scrapbook, photography, advertising and dairy production awards during the weekend. And over $16,000 in scholarships were presented to students attending, or planning to attend, college or technical school. The convention was hosted by the Chippewa Co. Junior Holstein Association.
