Longtime Farm Broadcaster Stepping Down

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -One of the state's longtime farm broadcasters is stepping away from the mic after nearly three decades of reporting.Bob Meyer, who had been serving as Wisconsin's correspondent for Brownfield Ag News, announced he has left the radio network effective January 1. A native of Clark County, Bob has earned many awards for his work throughout the years. He has announced the Central Wisconsin State Fair Draft Horse Show for the past 25 years and is known for being the voice of the annual Wisconsin FFA Convention in Madison.
Meyer will continue his duties as the morning announcer for WDLB Radio in Marshfield, a job he has held since August 1986. He is also a member of the 2017 Wood County Farm Technology Days planning committee.
