CDC Report at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard the CDC Report at their meeting last week.Tim Swiggum reported that as President of the Clark County Economic Development Corp. he participated in a bus tour with the State WHEDA Director in touring Clark County, some of the property owners along County D have not responded if they are interested in buying City land to the rear of their properties and Swiggum is working on the City's Outdoor Recreation Plan which is due December 1st. Some Christmas lights are starting to go up and a lighting event will be held the weekend after Thanksgiving and the public is invited.
Finally, the City Clerk presented the City General 2016 Budget and a sheet of special notes of budget items that will be occurring in 2016.
