Milwaukee Man Arrested for Allegedly Dealing Heroin Pleads Not Guilty

-A Milwaukee man arrested by the Marathon County Sheriff's Department Special Investigations Unit and Marshfield Police Department as part of a drug investigation appeared a court for a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.A traffic stop at the end of September resulted in the seizure of approximately eighty grams of high grade Heroin and the arrest of 24-year-old Melvin Dunomes. The Heroin seized amounts to approximately 1,600 doses. The street value of that amount is estimated at $80,000.00.
A $100,000 cash bond was set against him and he remains in the Marathon County Jail. Probable cause was found so his court proceedings will continue. He pleaded not guilty and will be back in court today. He also had a request for modification of his bond denied.
