Owen City Council Hears CDC Report

-The Owen City Council heard the CDC report at their meeting last week.Coordinator Tim Swiggum reported on his training he received in Baltimore through the International Economic Development Council. Discussed were neighborhood development, strategize future projects, disaster preparedness, street design, planning and more.
He also stated there is an interest in Lot 1 in the East Industrial Park near the two clinic buildings. West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission requested from all communities to identify infrastructure and planning projects in the next five years and that was turned in on October 8th.
The Clark County Parks Department is working on their Outdoor Recreation Plan and plan to be done by the end of the year. October Fest is coming on the 24th with a chili cook off and desert contests. The event was published in the OW Enterprise and The Sentinel Rural News.
