Owen City Council Approves House of Friends Funding

-The Owen City Council approved funding for the House of Friends after school program at their meeting last week.Don Wyeth, Director of the House of Friends was present to report on the success of the program and to thank the Council for their many years of support. The council approved the funding of $3,000 to the House of Friends After School Program.
Also, Owen City Clerk Terri Ernst attended the Community Development Block Grant 1 ? days workshop in Eau Claire. This year it was mandatory for Clerks to attend even if their Grant is administered by an engineer. Clerk Ernst also presented a report on the progress of the 2016 Budget.
