Neillsville School Board Approves Certified Tax Levy

-The Neillsville School Board approved the certified tax levy at their meeting on Monday evening.The board approved a Fund 10 tax levy of $3,872,096 and a Fund 80 tax levy of $75,000 for a total levy of $3,947,096 for the 2015-2016 school year. The board also approved applications for Youth Options, approved an out-of-state field trip to Dorian Music Festival at Luther College and approved an out-of-state field trip to the Festival of Nations for seventh graders.
A donation from the Knights of Columbus for the district's Special Needs Program was approved as were some handbook changes. Finally, the board approved the hiring of Brian Waters for the middle school track coaching position.
