Owen City Council Hears Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire Department Budget Report

-The Owen City Council heard a report on the budget of the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire Department.A report on the current 2015 Budget and 2016 Budget was given, item-by-item which the council appreciated. The City of Owen's assessment for 2016 is $28,615.85 and that was approved. Also, a member of MSA Professional Service was present to report on the intent to apply for Clean Water Funds and the council approved the WDNR Clean Water Fund Authorization form with Intent to Apply.
The MSA Professional Service member also reported on the revised cost estimate for the East 4th Street Project for a total of $685,000 and presented the Engineering Contract for the project and the council approved the Engineering Contract with MSA. Finally, the MSA Professional Service member reported on the CDBG Administration Contract per Task Order for $30,000. The council approved the Task Order.
