Santa in Blue Returning to Neillsville this Christmas

-This Christmas the Neillsville Police Department will be bringing back an old program from the past.The program is called "Santa in Blue." The "Santa in Blue" program is a partnership between the Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Neillsville Police Department where donated gifts from area businesses are handed out by Neillsville police officers to motorists traveling thru Neillsville on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Officers stop motorists for minor traffic violations and instead of receiving a citation they are surprised with a gift from Neillsville Chamber businesses.
Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann decided to bring this program back because it was always well-received by the public and his officers wanted to get involved. It's an opportunity to promote local businesses in the City of Neillsville and a chance for people to see their local police officers in a positive light. Any businesses interested in participating in this program are encouraged to contact the Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce Office.
