Security Health Plan Able to Offer Coverage Through the Marketplace Again

-Security Health Plan of Wisconsin, Inc., has again been recognized as a Qualified Health Plan by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, able to offer health insurance coverage in 2016 through the Health Insurance Marketplace.For 2016 Security Health Plan has expanded its popular Select exclusive provider network to nine additional counties, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Oneida, Portage, Washburn, Vilas and Wood. Select offers a top-notch selection of high quality health care providers, including Marshfield Clinic, and now, Essentia providers in northwestern Wisconsin. Select is a more affordable option in the counties in which it is offered.
Only insurance companies approved as a Qualified Health Plan are eligible to offer coverage through the Marketplace. Purchasing a plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace is the only way consumers can receive a tax credit to help reduce their monthly health insurance premiums.
