Neillsville Optimist Club Offering Walk to School Day Every Wednesday in October

-The Neillsville School District is participating in Walk to School Day on Walktober Wednesdays.You can join children and adults around the world to celebrate the benefits of walking and bicycling. As a follow up to Walk to School Day tomorrow, Wednesday, October 7th, the Neillsville Optimist Club will have volunteers provide a Walking Bus from the parking lots of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the United Church of Christ. They will leave at 7:30 and walk as a group to the Neillsville School. They will continue this on the Wednesdays throughout October including the 14th, 21st and 28th.
The routes are St. Mary's to Hewett Street to 4th Street to the school and the UCC to Park Street to 4th Street to the school. If you're interested, please have your child wait along the nearest route for the walking bus. Parents are encouraged to join in.
