Neillsville City Council Hears Public Works Report

-The Neillsville City Council heard the public works report at their meeting last week.The usual amount of work was done in the city including hauling brush and compost, equipment maintenance, mowing grass, watering flowers, street sweeping, opening and cleaning storm drains and more.
It was also stated that the airport project is moving slowly due to the drainage issues that were discovered. The department has been crack sealing the roads and they've trimmed low hanging branches over the sidewalks in various places. They've also completed flushing the water mains and a couple leaks were discovered and repaired in that time.
Finally, a couple project updates were provided. The Dollar General building will go up soon and the bar screen for the sewer plant is expected to go in towards the end of November.
