Greenwood City Council Approves Bid for Upgrade Treatment Plant Project

-The Greenwood City Council approved the bid for the upgrade treatment plant project at their meeting last week.They approved the bid for the upgrade treatment plant project to M-Z Construction for $530,750.00. They also approved the agreements with Morgan/Parmley, West Central Regional Planning Commission and Energenecs. Two resolutions in regards to the project were approved as well.
The council also accepted a quote from Tom's Landscaping to improve the City Park and a motion to have a delineation done on the 4 acres of land Southside of George Scherer Athletic Park.
Finally, the city will be flushing hydrants the weeks of September 28th-Octtober 1st and from October 5th-9th, they approved closing City Hall on Monday, October 12th and approved Mary DelFatti to the museum committee.
