Friday, September 25th, 2015 -- 1:09 PM

-Clark County authorities are investigating a two vehicle crash that injured both drivers. On September 24th 2015, at about 7:30pm, the Clark County Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call of an accident near the intersection of State Highway 73 and Lovers Road in the Township of Warner.

Initial investigation indicates that a Black Dodge truck driven by Titus N. Weaver, 19 yrs. old, was traveling south on State Highway 73 when it entered the north bound lane. A north bound red Dodge truck, being driven by a 17 yr. old male with a 17yr old passenger, struck it head on. The south bound vehicle came to rest in the north bound lane and the north bound vehicle came to rest in the east ditch. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts and the 17 yr. old passenger was unhurt. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.

Titus was transported by ambulance to the Marshfield St. Joseph's Hospital and the 17 year old operator was transported to the Saint Joseph's Hospital by the Spirit Air helicopter. Their conditions are currently unknown.

Titus is from the Owen-Withee area and the 17 year old driver is from the Loyal area. State Highway 73 was closed for several hours while emergency crews handled the accident.

The Greenwood Area Fire and Ambulance Service, the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Marshfield Ambulance Service and the Saint Joseph's Spirit Air helicopter responded to the scene. The Clark County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation into the crash.
