Neillsville School Board Approves Transportation Agreement

-The Neillsville School Board approved a transportation agreement with the Granton School District.Under a current agreement, the district just shares mechanic services with Granton. Under this new agreement, the districts will share services with Neillsville taking over the supervision of routs, safety training and more. Neillsville will also have input into the hiring and, if necessary, discipline of employees. But, Granton will be responsible for the final say in hiring and discipline. Granton has already approved this agreement as well.
The board also approved three donations. They approved the donation of a friendship bench from Russell's of Neillsville, sand for the football field from GNS Trucking and 40 boxes of tissues from Brittany Lowry.
