New Teachers, Open Campus and More at Neillsville School Board Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board had a short agenda, but discussed many important items at their meeting on Monday.The board was introduced to 4 new teachers that have joined the Neillsville School District in various positions. The board also approved release funds, a total of $437.86, to the class of 2015.
The board also approved the start of open campus for 10-12 graders beginning on September 28th. The freshmen will have an opportunity to enjoy open campus as well, but they must wait 9 weeks to make sure they're doing well in all their classes.
Also, during the Administrators' Reports, it was mentioned that the Neillsville District had to increase the price of 2nd helpings for their meals. However, that was a decision made by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and not the district.
