Black River Falls Octoberfest Growing

The 9th annual Black River Area Oktoberfest will be held Saturday, Oct. 3 at a new location with new events and activities combined with old favorites.This year's celebration will be in Rock Springs Park, located at the end of South Fifth Street. The park will turn into a day-long festival grounds with a variety of events for the entire family.
Another improvement this year will be the Oktoberfest Market Haus, a large tent for craft and artisan vendors. New events include a chainsaw carving demonstration and an interactive photo booth.
Throughout the day there will be a bake sale, brewery tours, a home brewing demonstration, a book sale and kid's treasure hunt at the Black River Falls Library and alpacas on exhibit.
