CDC Report at Owen City Council Meeting

-The Owen City Council heard the CDC Report at their meeting last week.Coordinator Tim Swiggum reported that James Louks has been charged by the S.E.C. with fraud. It appears he was defrauded as well but that doesn't change anything. The S.E.C. has assured Swiggum that the City of Owen is solely a witness. Tim wants to remind everyone that their investment in the Agribusiness Park was at the behest of the CWAIC Board and not Mr. Louks. We are only out our time and energy.
A council member also noted that the position of CDC should be discussed and the DRC is working hard and meeting weekly on Oktober Fest. Flyers should be out soon.
