Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports at their meeting on Tuesday.The first report they heard was from the Connect Communities meeting held on September 1st. The committee discussed and approved their proposed budget which was sent to the city's Economic Development Commission. The final proposed budget included $750 for supplies and expenses, $250 for postage, $6,000 for conferences and travel and $2,000 for programs and marketing with the final number coming to $9,000.
The committee also discussed their logo and catch phrase. A mockup of the logo will be presented at the next meeting. The catch phrase decided on was "Educate-Empower-Transform." The committee also discussed several items in regards to their kickoff event for the Connect Communities Program scheduled for October 1st.
