Greenwood Student Wins Talent Show

On Wednesday night, Marnie Schecklman of Greenwood displayed her voice and her abilities on the piano in front of the crowd at the Marshfield Central Wisconsin State Fair grandstand. The Marshfield News Herald reports that her skills were good enough to win her the first-ever Central Wisconsin's Got Talent event.Schecklman, a junior at Greenwood High School, gets $1,000 and winning the 13- through 18-year-old-age bracket sends her to Milwaukee to perform at the 2016 Wisconsin State Fair.
