Coronavirus Numbers for November 16th

-Taking a look at some local coronavirus numbers:

Clark County has seen a total of 1,679 positive cases.  Of those, 427 are currently active and 116 needed to be hospitalized.  Clark County has had 24 people die from the virus.  Wood has seen a total of 3,112 positive cases.  Of those 767 are active.  Wood has had 17 people die from the virus.

The state has seen a total of 312,369 positive cases (an increase of 6,058 over the previous day) and 2,637 deaths, an increase of 12 over the previous day.  Of the positive cases, 14,381, or 4%, have been hospitalized.  For our other neighboring counties, in total, Chippewa has seen 3,511 positive, Eau Claire has seen 5,865 positive, Jackson has seen 1,228 positive, Marathon has seen 8,069 positive and Taylor has seen 852 positive.

Marathon has had 96 people die from the virus; Chippewa has had 38 people die from the virus; Eau Claire has had 40 people die from the virus; Taylor has had 10 people die from the virus; and Jackson has had 2 people die from the virus.
