Accepting a Donation and Donating at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council approved accepting a donation and donating to an upcoming event at their meeting on Tuesday.The council accepted a $10,000 donation from the Clark County Board of Supervisors for the Neillsville airport. Because of this donation, and a $10,000 donation last year, the airport has been able to tackle a number of projects, including another big one this summer. The council expressed their gratitude to the Clark County Board for their support.
The council also approved donating $100 to the Neillsville Chamber of Commerce for the upcoming Dairy Breakfast in June. They made the same donation last year. The council also approved the pool of applicants looking to work for the City of Neillsville for the summer as they are high school students who applied. The applicants were first approved during a Personnel Committee meeting held right before the Public Works and Common Council meeting.
