Marshfield Man Accused of Threatening a Clark County Judge Appears in Wood County Court

Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 -- 4:11 PM

-Probable cause was found in the case of a Marshfield man charged in Wood County Court with threatening to kill a Clark County Judge and cause chaos in the city of Marshfield.

According to the criminal complaint, 31-year-old Justin Dolle was upset because he wasn't receiving medication he believes Clark County should be providing. When an officer went to his home, Dolle stated he would kill Clark County Judge Jon Counsell and "rain terror" on the city of Marshfield. He also claimed he had access to body armor and an assault rifle.

Dolle was charged with threatening a judge and bail jumping. He's being held on a $10,000 cash bond. During his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, Judge Wolf found probable cause so Dolle's court proceedings will continue. Even Dolle's lawyer did not argue that there was probable cause, but he did file a motion to have a competency exam conducted to determine if Dolle is fit to stand trial.
